Job summary

Rixos Hotels Gulf in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Captain Waiter to lead dining service in our luxury hotel restaurant. You will welcome guests with warmth, maintain high standards, and coordinate the service team to deliver graceful, attentive experiences.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in upscale dining, strong knowledge of fine-dining etiquette, and fluent English. Additional languages are a plus as you tailor guest experiences and ensure VIP satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in upscale restaurants or luxury hotels.
• Experience as Captain Waiter or Chef de Rang preferred.
• Strong knowledge of fine-dining service standards and etiquette.
• Excellent food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Experience supervising junior service staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, elegance, and professionalism.
• Provide personalized recommendations and anticipate guest needs.
• Ensure attentive, seamless service throughout dining experiences.
• Coordinate with front-of-house and kitchen teams.
• Coordinate and supervise Commis Waiters and service staff.
• Brief the team before service and monitor performance.
