Job summary

HIMALAYA STEEL TRADING FZE in Dubai seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules, ensuring materials reach customers on time and in good condition.

You will coordinate vehicle bookings, liaise with drivers, monitor shipments, and maintain delivery notes, invoices and logistics documents while collaborating with sales, warehouse and accounts to resolve issues, under pressure.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of relevant logistics experience.
• Experience in the steel trading or construction materials industry is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics, transportation, and delivery schedules.
• Arrange vehicle bookings and coordinate with drivers and transport companies.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare and maintain delivery notes, invoices, and logistics documents.
• Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and accounts departments.
• Track deliveries and resolve transportation or shipment-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery schedules.
