The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on freight forwarding or logistics experience in the Middle East, strong knowledge of KSA ports (Dammam, Jeddah), and familiarity with FASAH, SABER and Dubai Trade.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare competitive cost estimates and quotations.

Location: Dubai, UAE Travel: Frequent travel / short-term assignments to Saudi Arabia

Role Overview:

We are seeking a hands‑on Logistics Operations & BD Specialist to develop and manage destination logistics services, primarily in Saudi Arabia, with coverage across the UAE/GCC. The role combines port clearance, inland transportation, supplier management, pricing and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage port clearance, customs, gate-out and port-to-door delivery operations across KSA and UAE.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, trucking companies and other logistics vendors to ensure smooth cargo delivery.
• Source and negotiate competitive trucking, clearance and destination logistics rates and maintain a supplier/rate database.
• Handle trade documentation and clearance processes through FASAH, SABER and Dubai Trade.
• Develop new business by approaching traders, contractors, forwarders and other potential clients.
• Prepare competitive cost estimates and commercial quotations.
• Travel to Saudi Arabia for port visits, supplier negotiations and on-site operational coordination as required.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, inland transport or logistics in the Middle East.
• Strong operational knowledge of KSA ports, particularly Dammam and Jeddah, and Saudi clearance/delivery procedures.
• Familiarity with FASAH, SABER and Dubai Trade.
• Established network of customs brokers and trucking vendors in KSA is highly advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills with a commercial / business development mindset.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel frequently and undertake short-term assignments in Saudi Arabia.
