PipeCare Group of companies has been supporting customers in ensuring the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Logistics Officer to manage day-to-day logistics operations and provide efficient, timely and compliant logistics support for PipeCare projects. The role includes coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate logistics records, supporting supply chain activities and ensuring adherence to established logistics procedures, customs requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities and Authorities
- Follow up on the delivery, receipt and status of cargo and shipments to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Act as the main coordination point between departments, projects, managers, freight forwarders and cargo agents regarding shipment requirements and updates.
- Coordinate with the Production team to confirm the readiness of tools, equipment and materials for shipment.
- Monitor mobilization and demobilization activities and ensure all required follow-ups are completed on time.
- Coordinate with project and production teams to establish shipment schedules aligned with operational priorities.
- Maintain an updated and accurate database of tools and materials, including weight measurements, quantity, origin, destination, and shipment status.
- Prepare, review and coordinate shipping documentation, attestation, customs paperwork and other required logistics records to support timely dispatch.
- Stay updated on customs rules, import/export regulations and documentation requirements for destinations where PipeCare ships tools and equipment.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local and international freight forwarders, cargo agents, and logistics service providers to ensure reliable shipment control.
- Provide backup support to the Logistics In-Charge when required.
- Coordinate drivers and transportation arrangements for logistics-related movements.
Skills & Experience
- 3 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance or international shipments.
- Bachelor s degree or postgraduate qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of logistics operations in the MENA region, including customers, systems, service providers, and customs practices.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in English is required; working knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Accountability Plan and coordinate mobilization and demobilization transactions on a monthly basis.
- Submit accurate daily logistics reports and shipment updates as required.
- Ensure all shipments are properly arranged, documented, tracked and dispatched on time.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of tools and materials, including weight measurements, quantity, origin, destination and shipment status.
- Ensure logistics activities comply with company procedures, applicable customs regulations and project delivery requirements.

- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
