Target Engineering Construction Co LLC in the UAE is seeking a Logistics Officer to oversee end-to-end logistics for EPC oil & gas projects. You will coordinate shipping, customs clearance, warehousing, and material movements across multiple sites to support project timelines.

The role requires 3–5 years of logistics experience in related industries, a relevant degree, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of logistics experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Construction, or industrial projects.
• Proven experience coordinating shipping, customs clearance, transportation, and warehouse activities.
• Bachelor's or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Incoterms and logistics documentation; ERP familiarity (SAP/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for EPC projects including shipping and warehousing.
• Monitor inbound/outbound movement of materials and equipment.
• Prepare packing lists, BOLs, delivery notes, and customs documents.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Track shipments, manage exceptions, and mitigate delays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and logistics records.

YOUR ROLE

As a Logistics Officer, you will have the below key responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics activities including shipping, receiving, customs clearance, transportation, delivery, and warehousing for EPC projects.
• Monitor and manage inbound and outbound movement of materials, equipment, and consumables.
• Prepare and maintain logistics documentation including packing lists, Bills of Lading (BOL), delivery notes, shipping manifests, and customs clearance documents.
• Liaise with procurement, warehouse, project management, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of project materials.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, suppliers, and customs agents to track shipment status and resolve logistics issues.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and UAE/regional logistics regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, logistics logs, shipment tracking reports, and material movement records.
• Support transportation planning, route optimization, and mobilization of equipment to project sites.
• Identify logistics risks and proactively coordinate mitigation measures to avoid project delays.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience

• Mandatory: 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics within Oil & Gas, EPC, Engineering, Construction, or Industrial project environments.
• Proven experience supporting project-driven logistics operations and material coordination activities.
• Experience managing shipping, customs clearance, transportation, and warehouse coordination is highly preferred.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, customs regulations, and logistics documentation.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced EPC project environments with changing priorities.
• Proficiency in inventory tracking, shipment monitoring, and logistics reporting.
