Job summary

Tradeling Group is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Dubai to manage last-mile dispatch operations, route planning, and fleet coordination. You will be the link between FC teams and delivery partners, ensuring timely pickups, efficient route execution, and accurate documentation.

• Proficiency with TMS / WMS, scanning tools and basic systems.
• Strong Excel reporting skills (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards).
• Strong coordination, documentation, stakeholder communication and follow-up skills.
• Availability to work shifts, including peak periods and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out route planning and route optimization, including multi-zone route planning, to improve on-time delivery and reduce cost per drop.
• Manage load planning & allocation and capacity planning, matching daily parcel volumes to available vehicles and drivers.
• Oversee fleet coordination and track vehicle utilization to make sure capacity is used efficiently across all waves.
• Monitor sorting accuracy and ensure parcels are routed correctly.
• Validate dispatch logsheets, pallet counts and DA handover documentation.
• Drive exception management (missing, damages, delays), including misroutes and delayed pickups and deliveries, through to resolution.

Role Purpose

The Logistics Coordinator manages daily dispatch execution, general shift and sorting activities across last-mile operations to ensure smooth operational flow in a high-volume environment. The role acts as the link between FC teams and delivery partners, ensuring effective route planning, correct routing, timely pickups and proper documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead dispatch planning and wave-based dispatch schedules, and handle delivery partner coordination for pickup timings, vehicle placement and handovers.
• Carry out route planning and route optimization, including multi-zone route planning, to improve on-time delivery and reduce cost per drop.
• Manage load planning & allocation and capacity planning, matching daily parcel volumes to available vehicles and drivers.
• Oversee fleet coordination and track vehicle utilization to make sure capacity is used efficiently across all waves.
• Monitor sorting accuracy and ensure parcels are routed correctly.
• Validate dispatch logsheets, pallet counts and DA handover documentation.
• Drive exception management (missing, damages, delays), including misroutes and delayed pickups and deliveries, through to resolution.
• Carry out driver performance monitoring on delivery attempts, on-time performance and POD compliance, and elevate gaps to delivery partners.
• Ensure SLA compliance (DSR, PSR) and take corrective action where targets are at risk.
• Maintain clear stakeholder communication, sharing operational updates with customer service, commercial teams and other stakeholders.
• Ensure scanning compliance on TMS / WMS and proper closure of dispatch activities as per the scheduled wave times.
• Support shift leads in managing manpower and workflow.
• Own daily operational reporting, using Excel reporting to track dispatch, SLA and exception trends.
• Follow all operational controls and IMS/SOP requirements to protect product quality, integrity and food safety.
• Identify and report hazards, unsafe acts, near misses, product damage or food-safety concerns, and take immediate action to control risks; stop any unsafe activity and elevate when needed.
• Support incident investigations, complete CAPA actions, and maintain accurate IMS records and documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe access to emergency routes/equipment, and support emergency response through alarms, evacuation and safety briefings.
