Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji & Company Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Assistant to support import/export operations, shipping documentation, ERP transactions, and logistics coordination.

You will collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, efficient logistics processes across sea, air and land shipments in the UAE. Key duties include preparing documents, managing LC related tasks, stock reconciliation, and monitoring logistics costs

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of import/export documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and LC documentation.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle.
• Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Knowledge of JAFZA/UAE customs regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders, process GRNs, and post logistics invoices in ERP systems.
• Maintain LC documentation and coordinate with banks for submissions and amendments.

• Liaise with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, insurers, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor shipment compliance and ensure adherence to company HSE standards.
