Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi is seeking a Kitchen Associate to prepare ingredients, cook, and maintain high cleanliness and safety standards in a luxury kitchen. You will follow recipes, monitor quality, and operate kitchen equipment to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include setting up workstations, portioning, and ensuring proper food temperature and presentation in line with Gold Standards and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related food prep/culinary experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing.
• Wash and peel fruits and vegetables.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Test foods to ensure proper doneness and quality.
• Set up and break down workstation; maintain cleanliness and safety.
