Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton in Abu Dhabi is seeking an entry-level kitchen team member responsible for food preparation, portioning, and routine cooking tasks. You will wash and cut produce, weigh ingredients, and assist with hot and cold preparations to meet quality standards.

Duty includes operating standard kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitation, and supporting the team to uphold Ritz-Carlton’s Gold Standards in guest service and safety. Prior experience is valued but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and menus; monitor food quality during preparation.
• Operate kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, fryers) and ensure proper temperatures.
• Set up and break down work stations; maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the shift.
