Job summary

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Line Cook for our Abu Dhabi property. You will prepare meals to recipes and standards, regulate oven temperatures, handle food thawing, and ensure proper portioning and garnishes.

Maintain food logs, monitor quality, communicate needs during peak times, and assist in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching through to a professional service. You will uphold safety, cleanliness, and confidentiality while working with a dedicated culinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals per recipes, quality standards, and checklists.
• Regulate oven temperatures, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and coaching employees.
• Follow safety policies and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure uniform and professional appearance; protect confidential information.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
