Job summary

The Line Cook role at مجموعة الطاير's luxury retail café in Dubai is to support daily kitchen operations, reporting to the Kitchen Supervisor. You will prepare and cook items to approved recipes and presentation standards, contributing to an elevated guest experience with precision and teamwork.

Ideal candidates have at least 4+ years as a line cook, with a high school diploma; culinary training is a plus. The position requires flexibility to work weekends and varied shifts, strict HACCP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Culinary training or certification is an advantage, but not essential.
• 4+ years of experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role, preferably within a quality-driven or premium hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in line with approved recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and plating across all dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workstation at all times.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Ensure correct food storage, labelling, and stock rotation (FIFO).
• Participate in daily cleaning schedules and end-of-shift procedures.
• Support prep work, inventory checks, and stock organisation as required.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Communicate clearly during service to support efficient order flow and minimise delays.
• Use kitchen equipment safely and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Minimise food waste by following portion control and preparation guidelines.
• Monitor food quality during service and flag inconsistencies or issues proactively.
• Support other kitchen sections during peak service periods as required.
• Adapt quickly to changing service demands while maintaining quality standards.
