Job summary

AirQ is a UAE-based unmanned aircraft systems company seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to identify training needs and coordinate development programs that support performance and business priorities.

The role involves turning skill gaps into practical plans, overseeing training activities, and maintaining learning records while assessing program effectiveness across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Learning and Development, training coordination, or similar roles.
• Experience coordinating learning programs and working with managers to identify development needs.
• Knowledge of training needs analysis, learning methods, and training evaluation.
• Experience maintaining training records and tracking competencies or certifications.
• Strong planning and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify current and future learning needs with department managers.
• Develop and maintain a structured L&D plan aligned with company priorities.
• Coordinate internal and external training, workshops, and certification programs.
• Support onboarding with induction and role-specific learning.
• Maintain records of training, attendance, competencies, and certifications.
• Track training requirements and ensure timely completion and renewal.
• Evaluate training effectiveness via feedback and metrics.
• Prepare reports on training activity and development needs.
• Recommend improvements to learning programs and providers.
