AirQ Limited, a UAE-based unmanned aircraft systems company, seeks a Learning & Development Specialist to build skills and capabilities as the team grows.

The role identifies learning needs, coordinates development programs, oversees onboarding, and maintains reliable learning records. You will assess training effectiveness and help AirQ drive a culture of continuous improvement across technical, operations, and corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, L&D or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Learning & Development or training coordination.
• Experience coordinating learning programs with managers to identify needs.
• Knowledge of training needs analysis, learning methods and evaluation.
• Experience maintaining training records and tracking competencies/certifications.
• Strong planning, coordination and multi-priority management.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs with department managers and convert into practical training plans.
• Develop and maintain a structured L&D plan aligned with company priorities.
• Coordinate internal and external training, workshops and certification programs.
• Support onboarding with induction and role-specific learning for new employees.
• Maintain accurate training attendance, competencies and certifications records.
• Track mandatory and role-related training requirements and renewals.
• Evaluate training using feedback, data and workplace impact.
• Prepare reports on training activity and development needs.
• Recommend improvements to learning programs and external providers.
• Coordinate training logistics, budgets, providers and materials.

We are looking for a Learning & Development Specialist to help build the skills and capabilities our teams need as the company grows.

Role OverviewThe Learning & Development Specialist will identify learning needs across the company and coordinate development programs that support employee performance and AirQs business priorities. Working with department managers the role will turn identified skill gaps into practical training plans oversee training activities maintain reliable learning and certification records and assess the effectiveness of training.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with department managers to identify current and future learning needs role requirements and skills gaps.
• Develop and maintain a structured learning and development plan aligned with company priorities and departmental needs.
• Coordinate internal and external training workshops technical learning professional development and certification programs.
• Support effective onboarding by coordinating induction and role-specific learning for new employees.
• Maintain accurate records of training attendance employee competencies and relevant certifications.
• Track mandatory and role-related training requirements and coordinate timely completion and renewal.
• Work with managers to identify appropriate learning approaches for technical operational and corporate roles.
• Evaluate training through participant feedback manager input completion data and evidence of improved skills or workplace application.
• Prepare clear reports on training activity participation completion certification status and identified development needs.
• Recommend improvements to learning programs and assess suitable external providers courses and learning methods.
• Support employee development initiatives and contribute to building a consistent learning culture across AirQ.
• Coordinate training logistics budgets approvals providers schedules and learning materials.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources Learning and Development Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Learning and Development training coordination or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating learning programs and working with managers to identify development needs.
• Knowledge of training needs analysis learning methods and training evaluation.
• Experience maintaining training records and tracking competencies or certifications.
• Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Sound judgment when handling confidential employee information.
