Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose learning and development needs across assigned business units and recommend suitable training solutions.
- Design, develop, implement, and assess training initiatives that reflect current best practice and business requirements.
- Keep learning content updated with group practices, internal processes, operational standards, and business changes.
- Research and propose blended learning solutions that combine classroom delivery, digital learning, coaching, assessment, and workplace application.
- Deliver core curriculum programs, training calendar sessions, customized programs, and project‑based learning interventions.
- Serve as a Learning and Development Trainer on key projects, cross‑functional initiatives, and group‑wide rollouts.
- Assess career pathways and recommend development actions for high‑potential employees.
- Drive Emiratisation development pathways, traineeships, and capability‑building programs for UAE national talent.
- Engage external consultants and specialists when required to support learning design, delivery, or specialist development needs.
- Consult with business units to identify operational challenges and design learning interventions that support measurable performance improvement.
- Recommend, design, and execute business solutions linked to capability development, customer service, sales performance, leadership, and operational standards.
- Ensure training delivery and development solutions follow relevant industry, government, and internal regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational systems, learning processes, assessment practices, and reporting methods.
- Research and recommend best practice or international standards that support Al‑Futtaim Training Centre's vision.
- Ensure delivery metrics, project KPIs, training targets, and stakeholder expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage internal and external customer expectations regarding assessments, reporting, delivery timelines, and learning outcomes.
- Prepare proposals and quotations aligned with business plan objectives, revenue growth, access improvement, performance support, and commercial outcomes.
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, business trainers, line managers, and executives to gain agreement, share workloads, and deliver agreed learning plans.
- Communicate recommended learning solutions clearly to the business to secure buy‑in and approval.
- Promote Al‑Futtaim Training Centre products and services to group businesses and key stakeholders.
- Use tools and resources to discover training needs, assess capability standards, and measure learning effectiveness.
- Highlight Group HR and Al‑Futtaim Training Centre achievements, initiatives, and projects through appropriate communication channels.
- Maintain systems for collating, tracking, and reporting development performance.
- Manage and analyze learning and development performance data.
- Collate and report Al‑Futtaim Training Centre performance metrics, trainer delivery days, feedback data, and stakeholder updates.
- Ensure key stakeholders receive accurate, timely, and useful learning reports.
- Lead or support AFTC, Group HR, or business‑specific projects according to agreed timelines, cost expectations, quality standards, and KPIs.
- Apply strong project management discipline to keep learning initiatives organized, measurable, and commercially relevant.
Ideal Profile
- University degree required.
- Relevant training certificates, learning and development qualifications, or facilitation credentials preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English required.
- Strong curriculum design experience across leadership, sales, customer service, operations, and business capability programmes.
- Good knowledge of competency standards, assessment design, assessment delivery, and capability measurement.
- Experience facilitating programmes for mixed audiences, including senior leaders, managers, frontline teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of blended learning, current training methodologies, and creative learning interventions.
- Ability to design and deliver programmes that create lasting performance value for the business.
- Experience in business operations, project management, customer service, sales, relationship management, or commercial training valued.
- Proven ability to deliver confidently to senior or board‑level delegates.
- Strong consulting skills with the ability to understand business problems and recommend practical development solutions.
- High level of analysis, problem solving, and proactive thinking.
- Ability to manage projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Deep understanding of leadership and management development techniques.
