Qualifikationen

• Five years of experience designing industrial refrigeration systems or large, complex commercial refrigeration systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial refrigeration design principles, equipment selection, and system concept development.
• Experience preparing technical calculations, cost estimates, process flow diagrams, and technical submittals.
• Ability to review tender documents and support start-up and commissioning activities.

Johnson Controls supports customers across the Middle East and Africa with industrial refrigeration solutions, equipment, and project execution support. This role is part of the iREF Middle East and Africa Design and Engineering team and contributes across both pre-sales and project delivery.

What will you do

The Lead Systems Specialist - Industrial Refrigeration supports industrial refrigeration projects from tender review and concept development through detailed engineering, commissioning support, and retrofit or upgrade work. You will work with sales, operations, supply chain, CAD support, customers, consultants, and subcontractors to develop technically sound and commercially balanced solutions.

You will own the technical scope from tender review through handover, with safety, accuracy, and integrity guiding your decisions. You will stay close to the work by visiting sites, understanding installation constraints, and removing barriers for the customer and project team. You will challenge unclear inputs early and use practical problem-solving to improve estimates, scope, and design quality. You will work as one team with sales, operations, supply chain, CAD support, suppliers, and subcontractors to move projects forward. You will communicate progress, risks, and key decisions clearly so stakeholders stay aligned. You will look for continuous improvement in calculations, layouts, and engineering methods.

What we look for
