Job summary

KATIM, part of EDGE Group, is seeking a senior Systems Integration lead to drive integration of Defence Communications and C2 systems across air, land, maritime, and joint environments. You will define interfaces, manage interoperability, and support field deployments.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical field, 12+ years in defence or mission-critical systems, and hands-on experience with hardware-software integration, platform integration, and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Systems Engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related).
12+ years of experience in Systems Engineering/System Integration within Defence, Aerospace, Security, or mission-critical environments.
Proven experience integrating complex hardware, software, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Lead system integration activities for complex Defence Communications and C2 systems.
Integrate hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure across air, land, maritime, and joint environments.
Define and manage system interfaces, interoperability, and interface control documentation.
Lead integration testing, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and operational readiness activities.
Support platform integration trials, field deployments, customer demonstrations, and interoperability testing.
Work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, networking, customers, suppliers, and platform teams.
