Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Power Substation to lead end-to-end HV substation projects in the United Arab Emirates. You will manage scope, timeline, and budget while coordinating between clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

You will oversee planning, design, execution, and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and risk management are essential for successful delivery across multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale substations or power infrastructure projects.
• 5+ years in a senior project management role.
• Strong knowledge of HV substations, transmission lines, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with IEC and IEEE standards and national regulations.
• Proficient in Primavera or MS Project and project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for substation projects.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with client objectives.
• Lead project execution to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality deliverables.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover to meet standards.
• Manage contracts and vendor performance; address contractual disputes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
