Job summary

Accor’s Novotel World Trade Centre in the UAE seeks an experienced Chef de Partie to oversee a defined kitchen station. You will lead high-quality prep, cooking, and plating while upholding brand standards and safety.

You will work under the Sous Chef, collaborating with chefs and staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences, mentor juniors, and contribute to menu development during busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent culinary certification preferred.
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen with expertise in a specific station/cuisine.
• Strong culinary skills, creativity, and attention to detail in prep, cooking, plating.

Responsibilities

• Butchering, trimming, portioning, and preparing meat, poultry, and seafood according to standards.
• Monitor inventory levels for the assigned station to meet production requirements.
• Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines in the kitchen.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure timely prep, cooking, and presentation during service.
• Maintain quality and presentation; adjust seasoning and taste as needed.
• Collaborate with sous/head chef to develop new recipes and menu items.
