Job summary

KN International Architects and Engineers LLC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Senior Engineer – Sewer to oversee sewerage infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards and authority regulations.

The role involves supervising construction activities, reviewing submissions, monitoring quality and progress, and coordinating with stakeholders for successful handover of sewer networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in infrastructure projects, with sewerage networks experience.
• UAE/GCC project experience preferred.
• Familiarity with TAQA Water Solutions standards and approvals.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sewer pipeline construction including manholes and service connections.
• Ensure works meet approved drawings, specs, and ITPs.
• Monitor excavation, dewatering, pipe installation, compaction, and reinstatement.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and QC records.
• Coordinate with TAQA WS and authorities for inspections and approvals.
• Oversee testing, CCTV inspections, commissioning, and handover.
• Maintain site records and liaise with stakeholders.
