Job summary

KN International is seeking an experienced Assistant Resident Engineer (Sewerage) to oversee sewerage infrastructure construction in the UAE. The role requires ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating activities, and supervising inspection teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive UAE-experience in project management, construction oversight, and stakeholder engagement, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10–12 years of experience in sewerage projects, UAE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, standards and best practices in sewerage.
• Experience in project management, construction oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Resident Engineer in contract administration, submittals and RFIs.
• Supervise the construction inspection team and contractor activities.
• Oversee construction activities ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor adherence to site health and safety plans.
• Review progress, materials, manpower and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate construction interfaces with other contractors onsite.
• Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings.
• Identify constraints, analyze risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare daily diaries and maintain project documentation.
• Provide guidance on work assignments and contractor operations.
• Report contractual and procedural matters to the Resident Engineer.
