Job summary

John Wood Group PLC in Abu Dhabi seeks a Technical Safety professional to provide expertise across all Technical Safety matters and to support design teams. The role requires ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, coordinating with EPC Contractors, IPMT and site interfaces, and performing regular technical reviews of safety deliverables to maintain quality and integrity across projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in all Technical Safety matters
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, monitor and handle Technical Safety design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Technical Safety deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
