Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi seeks a piping design engineer to provide technical expertise, ensure ADNOC-compliant designs, and coordinate with EPC contractors to meet project timelines. The role requires close collaboration with IPMT, other disciplines, and site interfaces to resolve issues and maintain quality.

You will review piping deliverables for compliance, support engineering operations, and uphold best practices across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering piping design and related engineering deliverables.
• Ability to review compliance with codes and ADNOC standards.
• Experience coordinating with EPC contractors and executing design with IPMT/site interfaces.

Job description

• Provide technical expertise in all Piping design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Piping design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Piping Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
