Job summary

Wood is seeking a Technical Safety specialist to support Abu Dhabi-based projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements. The role focuses on delivering safe, compliant technical safety design and engineering across complex projects.

You will coordinate with EPC contractors and internal teams, conduct technical reviews, and support execution of deliverables with high quality and safety as top priorities.

• Provide expertise in all Technical Safety matters.
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and handle Technical Safety design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectations and complete the same within the time frame.
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Technical Safety deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
