Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of major projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage scope, budget, programme, quality, and teams across design, technical, commercial, procurement, construction, and HSE functions.

The role requires 12–15 years of PM experience in real estate, construction, or infrastructure, with strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering/management discipline.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Experience in real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or major projects.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, cost management, contracts, procurement, risk, and governance.
  • Experience delivering projects from planning through handover and engaging with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of assigned projects from initiation through completion and handover.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, programmes, budgets, milestones, resources, and delivery strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across Design, Technical, Commercial, Procurement, Construction, HSE, and other functions.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and partners to ensure performance against requirements.
  • Monitor progress against milestones and KPIs and implement recovery or mitigation plans as needed.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints impacting delivery.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, expenditure, variations, and financial performance with Commercial team.
  • Lead change control processes and assess impacts on scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Chair progress, coordination and stakeholder meetings; ensure actions are followed through.
  • Maintain relations with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Review reports, schedules, submissions, and compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior management highlighting progress and risks.
  • Lead resolution of significant issues and escalate as needed.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, handover, and lessons learned.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to Project Managers and team members.

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of major projects, ensuring successful execution in line with approved scope, budget, programme, quality standards, and organizational objectives while effectively managing project teams, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of assigned projects from initiation through completion and handover.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, programmes, budgets, milestones, resources, and delivery strategies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, budget, schedule, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate activities across Design, Technical, Commercial, Procurement, Construction, HSE, and other functions.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other project delivery partners to ensure performance against agreed requirements.
  • Monitor project progress against key milestones and KPIs and implement recovery or mitigation plans where required.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints that may impact successful delivery.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, expenditure, variations, and overall financial performance in coordination with the Commercial team.
  • Manage project change control processes and assess the impact of proposed changes on scope, cost, programme, and quality.
  • Chair project progress, coordination, and stakeholder meetings and ensure actions and decisions are effectively implemented.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, government authorities, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Review project reports, schedules, technical submissions, commercial matters, and other key project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, HSE standards, quality requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Provide regular project performance reports to senior management, highlighting progress, risks, financial status, key decisions, and areas requiring intervention.
  • Lead the resolution of significant project issues and elevate critical matters to senior leadership where required.
  • Oversee project testing, commissioning, handover, close-out, and lessons learned.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to Project Managers and other project team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Professional project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent would be preferred.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of relevant project management experience, including significant experience leading large-scale and complex projects.
  • Strong experience within real estate development, construction, infrastructure, or major project environments.
  • Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and multiple project workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, cost management, contracts, procurement, risk management, and project governance.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle from planning and design through construction and handover.
  • Strong experience engaging with senior management, clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
