MediaSource FZC seeks a seasoned Programme/Project Manager to lead major programmes from initiation through delivery and handover in Abu Dhabi. You will design delivery strategies, establish governance, and manage budgets, schedules, and quality to meet stakeholder requirements.
The role requires strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, risk management, and effective communication with clients and authorities.
To lead and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of major programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, approved budgets, timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder requirements.
Lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned programmes and major projects from initiation and planning through execution, completion, and handover.
Develop and implement programme and project delivery strategies, execution plans, schedules, budgets, and governance frameworks.
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, budget, programme, quality, and contractual requirements.
Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
Monitor programme and project performance against agreed milestones, KPIs, budgets, and delivery schedules.
Identify and manage key project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, ensuring appropriate mitigation and recovery plans are implemented.
Oversee project budgets, cost forecasts, procurement activities, variations, claims, and overall commercial performance.
Coordinate with design, commercial, procurement, construction, operations, and other internal functions to ensure effective project delivery.
Manage relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other key stakeholders.
Chair programme and project progress meetings and ensure actions, decisions, and escalations are effectively managed.
Review and approve project plans, schedules, reports, change requests, and key deliverables within delegated authority.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, HSE standards, quality requirements, and organizational policies.
Provide regular programme and project performance reports to executive management, highlighting progress, risks, financial status, and areas requiring intervention.
Drive timely resolution of critical project issues and ensure appropriate escalation where executive decisions are required.
Oversee project completion, testing and commissioning, handover, close-out, and lessons learned.
Promote continuous improvement and consistent project management standards across the programme/project portfolio.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Master’s degree or MBA would be an advantage.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent professional project/programme management certification preferred.
Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex projects or programmes, preferably within construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or a related sector.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams, consultants, and contractors.
Strong experience in programme planning, commercial management, contracts, risk management, and project governance.
Demonstrated ability to manage senior-level stakeholders and deliver multiple workstreams within complex project environments.
