Job summary

Dubai Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Senior Technician – Planning to support production planning and maintenance coordination in its Dubai operations. You will optimize schedules, ensure material readiness, and drive efficiency while upholding safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in production or maintenance planning within heavy industries, with SAP/CMMS experience and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/HNC/Equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• Additional certifications in maintenance planning or production management are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate production schedules to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure materials and consumables are available to support operations.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Plan, prioritize, and monitor work orders from start to finish.
• Determine manpower, materials, and timelines for maintenance activities.
• Prepare requisitions, store documents and related production records.
• Maintain accurate work order documentation and monitor backlogs.
• Review maintenance schedules and suggest updates as needed.
• Generate maintenance planning and compliance reports.
• Update spare parts inventory and SAP records.
• Assist in producing departmental reports and performance summaries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality policies.
