Strategic Production Planner: Manufacturing & Scheduling

Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an experienced Production Planner in Dubai to organize and optimize production planning activities within manufacturing operations. You will prepare daily and weekly plans, coordinate with multiple departments, monitor progress and adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Production Planning, Industrial Engineering, or related field, with experience in manufacturing, MS Excel and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Production Planning, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory and material requirements.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Planning, QC and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Monitor production progress and update plans based on actual output and machine availability.
• Coordinate raw material availability with Warehouse and Purchasing teams.
• Identify potential production delays and take timely corrective action.
• Maintain production schedules, planning reports and related records.
• Monitor production capacity, manpower, machine availability and material requirements.
• Support management with production planning and capacity reports.
• Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are followed.
