Job summary

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) is seeking a senior Platform Architect to lead the AI & Agentic Platform. You will own the five-layer architecture, ensure secure, observable, scalable production readiness, and collaborate in a two-in-a-box model with the Platform Product Owner.

The role requires deep hands-on engineering in distributed systems, identity, and cloud-native platform engineering for regulated banking environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software and platform engineering.
• Experience in banking or regulated industries.
• Strong on LLM inference and gateway architectures.
• Proven leadership in two-in-a-box model.
• Security, identity, and governance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture of AI & Agentic Platform's five-layer stack (Action Gateway, Agent Kernel, Control Plane, Knowledge Foundation, Users/Channels).
• Architect and evolve the agentic runtime to multi-protocol stack interoperability (MCP, A2A, ACP) with hyperscaler agent fabrics.
• Lead design of the platform's identity, security, and governance controls (KYA, IAM, OAuth 2.1, mTLS, zero-trust).
• Drive integration with core banking, data platforms, ESB, events, and APIs.
• Oversee SRE, observability, incident response, and cost governance for production workloads.
