Job summary

Wood in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an Instrumentation Design professional to provide technical expertise and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards. You will coordinate instrumentation design with the EPC contractor and other disciplines to meet project expectations and deadlines.

You will work with IPMT, EPC Contractor and ADNOC Engineering/Operation teams to resolve technical issues, review deliverables, and maintain design quality and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Provide technical expertise in Instrumentation design and related disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC codes and standards.
• Coordinate instrumentation design with EPC contractor and project timelines.
• Review instrumentation deliverables to ensure quality and conformance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, monitor and manage Instrumentation design with the EPC Contractor per project expectations and time frame.
• Collaborate with IPMT, EPC Contractor and ADNOC Engineering/Operation teams to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct regular technical reviews of instrumentation engineering deliverables from consultants/contractors.

Job description

• Provide technical expertise in all Instrumentation design
• Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
• Coordinate, Monitor and handle Instrumentation design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation and complete the same within the time frame
• Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
• Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Instrumentation Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
