Job summary

Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Piping Engineer to oversee piping design, development and implementation for high-profile projects within the Oil, Gas & New Energies sector in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, coordinate with EPC contractors and discipline engineers, and perform technical reviews to guarantee quality and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise in all Piping design
  • Ensure design and engineering compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards
  • Coordinate, monitor and handle piping design and engineering with EPC Contractor as per project expectation
  • Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity
  • Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Piping Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

The key objectives for this role are:
  • Provide technical expertise in all Piping design

  • Work with other discipline engineers within IPMT, EPC Contractor, ADNOC Engineering / Operation / Site Interface to resolve technical issues and ensure quality Discipline Engineering execution and integrity etc.
  • Perform regular and timely technical reviews of Piping Engineering deliverables developed by engineering consultants/contractors, ensuring design quality in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
