Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer - HVAC for ADNOC Offshore Greenfield projects. The role will lead all HVAC engineering activities from concept through startup, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and international codes.

The candidate will manage HVAC engineers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and oversee design, calculations, and vendor reviews to deliver safe, energy-efficient systems offshore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a Lead HVAC Engineer role within major Oil & Gas projects.
• Offshore Greenfield EPC project experience is preferred.
• ADNOC Offshore project experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Manage and supervise HVAC engineers and designers.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to project teams.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, Civil, Structural and HSE disciplines.
• Review and approve HVAC layouts, duct routing, air distribution diagrams and equipment drawings.
• Support procurement, FAT/SAT and field commissioning activities.
