Job summary

KBR, Inc. Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Lead Instrumentation and Control Engineer for ADNOC Offshore greenfield projects.

The role oversees all IC, automation, telecom, and safety systems engineering across FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning and Start-up. You will lead multi-discipline teams, ensure compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards, review instrumentation data, control system architecture, and safety integrity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation/ Electrical & Instrumentation or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of Instrumentation & Control engineering experience; 5+ years in a Lead role.
Extensive FEED and EPC offshore oil & gas experience; Middle East/GCC experience essential.

Responsibilities

Lead Instrument & Control engineering team during FEED, EPC, and execution phases.
Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Structural, Telecom, and HSE disciplines.
Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers.
Monitor engineering progress, resource allocation, and budget requirements.
Review instrument datasheets, I/O lists, and diagrams; ensure interfaces with DCS/ESD/FGS/ICSS.
