Job summary

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer - HVAC for ADNOC Offshore Greenfield projects. The role will lead all HVAC engineering activities from concept through startup, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and international codes.

The candidate will manage HVAC engineers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and oversee design, calculations, and vendor reviews to deliver safe, energy-efficient systems offshore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in Mechanical/HVAC Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a Lead HVAC Engineer role within major Oil & Gas projects.
• Offshore Greenfield EPC project experience is preferred.
• ADNOC Offshore project experience is highly preferred.

KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is currently seeking experienced professionals for the position listed below in support of a major Offshore Project. The role will be based at either the Client's Office or the Contractor's Office in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Purpose

Lead and manage all HVAC engineering activities for ADNOC Offshore Greenfield projects during Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Start-up phases. Ensure HVAC systems are designed and implemented in compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards, international engineering codes, offshore environmental requirements, safety regulations, and project objectives.

The role is responsible for delivering reliable, safe, energy-efficient, and maintainable HVAC and pressurization systems for offshore facilities including Wellhead Towers, Central Processing Platforms (CPP), Utility Platforms, Living Quarters, Electrical Buildings, Telecom Shelters, and Process Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead HVAC engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects.
• Manage and supervise HVAC engineers and designers.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.

• GCC/Middle East project experience is preferred.
