Job summary

KBR, Inc. Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static) for Greenfield offshore projects.

The role oversees engineering, design reviews and technical management of static equipment to meet ADNOC Offshore standards, international codes, and project schedules from FEED to commissioning. You will lead cross-disciplinary interfaces, review specifications and datasheets, coordinate with vendors, and ensure quality and safety in all deliverables while mentoring junior engineers and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
15+ years of mechanical engineering experience in Oil & Gas.
8+ years of offshore greenfield project experience.
Experience with FEED and Detailed Engineering.
Chartered Engineer or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical engineering activities related to static equipment for offshore oil & gas facilities.
Prepare design basis, specifications, datasheets and requisitions for static equipment.
Review and approve engineering deliverables: pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns and tanks.
Coordinate with equipment vendors during design, manufacturing, testing and delivery stages.
Interface with Process, Piping, Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Corrosion and HSE disciplines.
Participate in HAZOP/HAZID, design reviews and model reviews; monitor progress and risks.
Support construction, commissioning and startup activities; ensure ADNOC standards compliance.
