Job summary

Private, a Dubai-based events and creative agency, is seeking an experienced Assistant Event Manager for MICE and corporate events. You will manage projects from concept through delivery, coordinating with clients, vendors and internal teams to ensure profitable, seamless execution.

The role requires a hands-on professional with a track record in MICE, strong English, excellent negotiation and leadership skills, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in a DMC/MICE/advertising agency or similar role.
• Senior, client-facing position with ownership of projects.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own events from brief through proposal, planning, production, execution and post-event closure.
• Prepare proposals, budgets, contracts, timelines and project plans.
• Develop MICE and incentive programs from scratch.
• Manage budgets, supplier negotiations, and final reconciliation to meet profitability.
• Liaise with clients to understand objectives and budgets.
• Conduct client and supplier meetings in person or virtually.
• Oversee operational and administrative needs for each project.
• Manage AV, staging, lighting, sound, branding and production requirements.
• Develop long-term client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities.
• Provide leadership and coaching to junior team members.
• Occasional travel may be required.
