Job summary

CCL Global is seeking a Lead MEP Engineer in the UAE for a one-year contract, based in Dubai.

You will manage the full lifecycle of MEP systems across grid infrastructure projects including FPS, HVAC, LSP, ELV, Plumbing, and EOT Crane systems in substations and industrial facilities. You will lead tendering, cost estimation, design mgmt, procurement support, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
8-12 years of experience in MEP engineering, tendering, design management and project execution.
Experience in substations, transmission & distribution projects, power plants, industrial facilities, or related infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, Lighting & Small Power, ELV, Plumbing, Drainage, Utility Services.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office applications.
Willingness to travel across UAE and wider Middle East region.

Responsibilities

Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, employer requirements, and technical schedules.
Prepare MEP BOQs, cost estimates, technical proposals, and bid deliverables.
Coordinate RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor assessments, and subcontractor engagement.
Lead the design and engineering of MEP systems including FPS, HVAC, LSP, ELV, Plumbing, and EOT Crane systems.
Design fire protection and related systems for substations and industrial facilities.
Supervise MEP installation works, monitor progress, quality, safety and schedule.
Prepare commissioning documentation, handover dossiers, testing records and close-out reports.
