Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Lead MEP Engineer in the UAE to lead the design and delivery of fire protection, HVAC, LSP, ELV, plumbing, utility, and EOT crane systems for substations, power plants, and industrial facilities. You will coordinate with civil, electrical, protection, control, telecom, and SCMS teams, ensuring compliant, safe, and timely project execution.

The role requires 8–12 years of MEP experience with a strong background in tenders, design management, and on-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 8–12 years in MEP engineering.
• Experience across tendering, design management and project execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; UAE authority familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP tenders end-to-end: reviews, BOQs, cost estimates and proposals.
• Serve as technical authority for fire, HVAC, LSP, ELV, plumbing, and EOT crane systems.
• Run RFQs, bid evaluations and vendor assessments.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, electrical, protection, telecom, SCMS teams.
• Oversee on-site installation quality, safety and schedule; address non-conformances.
• Drive FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover dossiers and close-out reports.
