Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks a Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision for mega/giga developments, including villas and high-rise towers, ensuring delivery aligns with design intent, authority regulations, quality standards, and project timelines.

You will mentor Resident Engineers, review drawings and submittals, monitor progress and KPIs, drive HSE compliance, coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities, and provide executive reporting on risks and mitigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years experience with UAE consultancy supervision roles.
• Proven track record in mega/giga projects (residential/mixed-use).
• Strong experience in villas and high-rise buildings in the UAE.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and authority approvals.
• Experience managing multi-package, high-value projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera, AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Certifications such as PMP or Chartered Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end site supervision for mega/giga projects (mixed-use, villas, high-rise).
• Ensure construction aligns with approved drawings, specs and UAE authority requirements.
• Mentor Resident Engineers, inspectors and discipline engineers.
• Review and approve shop drawings, materials, method statements, and submittals.
• Monitor progress, KPIs and schedules; ensure timely delivery.
• Drive QA/QC and enforce HSE compliance across sites.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Provide executive reporting on progress, risks and mitigations.
