Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to lead site supervision for mega and giga developments in Dubai, including villas and high-rise schemes. You will manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities to ensure design intent and regulatory compliance.

Applicants should have 15 years of UAE consultancy supervision experience, with a proven track record on mega projects and proficiency in Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15 years of UAE consultancy supervision experience.
• Proven track record on mega/giga residential/mixed-use projects.
• Experience with villa and high-rise UAE projects.
• Knowledge of UAE regulations and authority approvals.
• Experience managing multi-package high-value projects.
• Proficiency in Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Certifications such as PMP or Chartered Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end site supervision for mega projects (mixed-use villas and high-rise developments).
• Ensure construction aligns with approved drawings, specifications and UAE requirements.
• Manage and mentor Resident Engineers, inspectors, and discipline engineers.
• Review and approve shop drawings, materials, method statements and submittals.
• Monitor project progress KPIs and schedules ensuring timely delivery.
• Drive quality assurance/control and enforce HSE compliance across sites.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and government authorities.
• Lead resolution of complex technical and site issues.
• Review and validate progress payments, variations and claims.
• Provide executive-level reporting to stakeholders on progress, risks and mitigation plans.
