Job summary

NMC is seeking an experienced Coding Supervisor to manage and audit the coding team in Abu Dhabi, ensuring proper coding of documents per regulator guidelines. The role reviews all insurance claims, mentors staff, and collaborates with the Revenue Cycle Manager to meet KPIs and improve revenue.

Responsibilities include implementing SOPs, training, auditing IP and OP charts, and maintaining high standards of data accuracy and patient confidentiality in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Paramedical with coding certification.
• Minimum 5 years of ICD/CPT coding experience and supervision.
• Strong supervisory, leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and audit the medical coding team to ensure compliant, accurate coding.
• Implement SOPs and guidelines for the coding section in coordination with the Revenue Cycle Manager.
• Provide coaching and training to staff to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Monitor billing practices to improve revenue and conduct regular audits of IP and OP charts.
• Prepare and present audit results and support performance improvement plans.
