Job summary

NMC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Coding Manager to lead and audit the coding team. You will ensure compliance with regulator coding guidelines, review insurance claims, and coordinate with the Revenue Cycle Manager to optimize revenue through accurate service and DRG coding.

You will train, mentor, and supervise staff, implement SOPs, monitor KPI adherence, and report audit findings monthly to the corporate audit team while maintaining patient confidentiality and OSH standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or any other degree in Paramedical with coding certification (AAPC/CPC/AHIMA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supervising Medical Coding Team.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and audit the coding team to ensure compliance with regulator guidelines.
• Lead and mentor staff; set expectations and monitor performance.
• Implement SOPs for the coding section in coordination with Revenue Cycle Manager.
• Train new and existing coding staff on coding expectations and KPIs.
• Audit IP and OP charts regularly and share results with the team; monthly audit reports.
