Job summary

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking a Head of Interest Rate Derivatives Trading to lead IRD activities, manage risk across a multi-currency book, and drive profitability. The role requires deep pricing, structuring skills, and strong leadership to coordinate across desks and functions.

The successful candidate will develop SOPs, monitor regulatory compliance, and coordinate market intelligence to support strategic objectives, while guiding a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• At least 9 years in IRD trading or equivalent.
• Advanced understanding of multi-currency, multi-product rates books.
• Experience pricing complex derivatives and validating models.

Responsibilities

• IRd trading risk management to provide liquidity for CIBG clients.
• Position and manage the IRD book to meet financial targets within risk framework.
• Develop and review SOPs for IRD trading for compliance with policy and regulation.
• Lead and oversee pricing, structuring, and trade origination with other desks.
• Monitor exposure limits and implement corrective actions to protect P&L.
• Lead market evaluation and hedging strategies for risk mitigation.
