Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to own the technical resolution of complex HMI and industrial communications issues at power plants. You will drive RCAs, implement corrective actions, and coordinate with design, product, and regional teams to protect customers' fleets.

Travel about 10-15% regionally/internationally. The role requires strong English communication, a degree in engineering, and certifications such as GICSP, CCNP, or ISA/IEC 62443.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering from accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience with HMI platforms, industrial communication interfaces, historians, and industrial cyber security at power plants.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical resolution to complex Controls system issues including HMI, industrial interfaces, historians, and cyber security at power plants.
• Drive RCAs through root cause analysis and corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Management, regional centers, manufacturing, sourcing, vendors, and customers to deliver sound technical resolutions.
• Promote lean principles and GE Vernova Way traits in day-to-day activities.
