Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Gas Turbine Product Service Lead Engineer in the UAE to provide technical guidance and support for Gas Turbine components, including hot capital parts. The role covers day-to-day troubleshooting and long-term root cause analyses with impact on GE and customers.

You will lead investigations, prepare customer-facing technical documentation, and communicate with customers and senior leadership while mentoring junior staff and driving continuous improvement across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in Field Services Engineering or Operations with gas turbine combustion expertise.
• Ability to travel globally to customer GT sites and offices for root cause investigations and customer communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to the Gas Turbine Product Service team on root cause investigations and daily case support across GE heavy duty frame sizes.
• Lead high-impact root cause investigations using engineering methods to deliver accurate, timely solutions.
• Lead external customer communications including creation of technical documentation and presentations.
• Prepare technical presentations for customers and senior leadership (user conferences, webinars, reviews).
• Maintain relationships with internal interfaces to ensure customer requirements are understood and addressed.
• Travel to customer locations to support outages and technical reviews; mentor junior staff and share knowledge.
