Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Field Specialist 4 based in Abu Dhabi for a 3-month contract. The role covers operating, redressing, and maintaining downhole tools during well intervention projects, with lead-hand responsibilities in Fishing, Whipstock and Thru-Tubing tasks.

You will mentor engineers and work with drilling crews to optimize performance. Requires 6–10 years in oilfield activities, expert product knowledge, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6-10 years' experience in oilfield activities.
• Expert-level knowledge of Fishing, Whipstock, and/or Thru-Tubing products/services.
• Competent to operate as lead hand in listed tools and tasks.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all HSE, Quality, and IT standards; wear PPE and keep certifications up to date.
• Operate, redress, and maintain downhole tools at customer sites in support of well intervention.
• Apply proficient knowledge to troubleshoot complex technical issues on site.
• Expand application knowledge and develop new or improved processes and techniques.
• Provide training and mentoring for less experienced engineers.
• Liaise with customers and drilling crews on planning and troubleshooting; attend meetings as required.
