Job summary

ALEC Technologies in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks a senior BIM Coordinator to drive multidisciplinary coordination and BIM process implementation across ICT, ELV, AV, and Smart systems. You will work with the BIM Manager to ensure standards, BEP compliance, and efficient project delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in BIM coordination within construction, with strong Revit/Navisworks skills and experience using ACC/BIM 360 and CDE. On-site coordination and collaboration with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/architecture/construction tech or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years' BIM coordination experience in construction projects.
• Strong proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360 and CDE platforms.
• Solid understanding of BEP, ISO 19650, and information management.
• Experience leading model coordination, clash detection, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Assist BIM Manager in implementing project BIM standards and BEP.
• Develop and maintain BIM models for ICT/ELV/AV/Smart systems.
• Create discipline-specific Revit families and content libraries.
• Ensure models comply with project requirements and BIM standards.
• Lead model coordination meetings, clash checks, and RFI support.
• Publish coordinated BIM models via ACC, BIM 360, and CDE.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and site teams.
• Produce BIM reports, take-offs, and asset information deliverables.
• Support as‑built and handover documentation development.
• Mentor junior BIM modelers.
