Job summary

ALEC Holdings PJSC is seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to lead BIM coordination across complex MEP systems for high-profile projects in the UAE. This role requires deep expertise in modeling, clash detection, and coordinating with design and site teams to ensure constructability and timely delivery.

You will implement BIM workflows, maintain model integrity, and support site teams to resolve coordination issues while collaborating with engineering and planning departments for seamless data flow.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years BIM coordination experience on large-scale MEP projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks and clash-detection workflows.
• Strong leadership and clear communication with design and site teams.

Your Role

• Lead and manage BIM coordination activities for large-scale MEP projects.
• Oversee model updates, clash detection, and coordination between design and site teams.
• Implement and monitor BIM workflows using Revit and Navisworks, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Manage BIM deliverables and model integrity in line with the overall programme schedule.
• Support site teams by resolving coordination issues and maintaining up-to-date as-built models.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, and design departments to ensure seamless information flow across all project stages.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 8-10 years of BIM coordination experience within large-scale MEP projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, and clash detection workflows. Strong understanding of MEP systems, coordination principles, and BIM standards. Ability to manage federated models, resolve conflicts, and maintain project documentation efficiently.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities, capable of working effectively with both design and site execution teams.
• Delivery Focus: Proven track record in managing BIM deliverables and meeting programme requirements under tight deadlines.
