Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior BIM Engineer in Abu Dhabi Emirate to lead BIM standards, digital construction workflows and model governance. You will coordinate architectural, structural and engineering models, oversee BIM execution plans and ensure quality in shop drawings and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of BIM management experience, strong Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks expertise, and leadership capabilities to drive digital delivery across complex projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of BIM management or digital construction delivery experience.
• Experience with BIM standards, execution plans and model governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM standards, procedures and digital workflows.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary modeling across disciplines.
• Prepare and maintain BIM execution plans aligned with project milestones.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of coordinated BIM models.
• Review shop drawings and digital construction docs for accuracy.
• Coordinate BIM activities among architects, engineers, contractors and subs.
• Lead multidisciplinary coordination meetings and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor model development for currency and structure.
• Conduct quality reviews against project requirements.
• Establish model audit procedures and track corrective actions.
• Verify model geometry and documentation before issue.
• Provide training and guidance on BIM tools and workflows.
• Evaluate new BIM technologies and advise on adoption.
