Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Principal Engineer - Performance to lead sizing and performance analysis across the full aerospace development lifecycle. You will translate mission needs into explicit performance constraints and develop rigorous analyses, models, and substantiation across multidisciplinary domains.

You will mentor engineers, drive improvements to performance methods and automation, and provide technical leadership for major design reviews, flight testing, and program milestones

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Electrical, Energy, Applied Mathematics, or related

Responsibilities

• Translate mission requirements into measurable performance objectives
• Lead performance analyses across sizing, takeoff, climb, cruise, range, and endurance
• Develop and maintain performance models and trade studies
• Integrate multidisciplinary data to establish credible vehicle performance
• Support design reviews and program milestones with substantiation reports
• Mentor engineers and advance digital-engineering practices
