Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Laundry Attendant to ensure efficient, high-quality processing of hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry. You will uphold the brand's luxury standards and work with a professional team in a 5-star setting.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of laundry operations, and commitment to hygiene. You will operate machines, inspect items, and maintain cleanliness across the laundry area while supporting guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a hotel laundry or commercial laundry is preferred.
• Experience in a 4- or 5-star hotel is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care, stain removal, washing, drying, ironing, and pressing.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, count, and classify hotel linen, uniforms, guest laundry, and other fabric items according to established procedures.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, ironing machines, presses, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect all items for stains, damage, and quality before and after the washing process.
• Apply appropriate washing, stain-removal, drying, pressing, and finishing techniques according to fabric type and hotel standards.
• Fold, press, package, and distribute clean linen and uniforms to the appropriate departments.
• Process guest laundry and dry-cleaning items accurately and within the required turnaround time.
• Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled linen to ensure hygiene and prevent cross-contamination.
• Report damaged, stained, or missing items to the Laundry Supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, equipment, and storage areas.
